Founded in 2021 by two best friends in New York, First Date is the dream project of Ellie and Blair, two girls with a shared passion for dreamy, fairy-tale dresses and all things romantic.

As close as sisters, they always wanted to create something together. With their love for fashion and photography, they combined their talents and brought their vision to life through a clothing line dedicated to enchanting dresses.

Ellie, one of the co-founders, dreamed of a brand centered around charming, date-ready dresses. She adored the thrill of dressing up for every special occasion—whether a birthday party, a gathering with friends, or just a night out. Her wardrobe, however, always felt like it was missing those perfect, whimsical pieces. This inspired her to create a brand that would celebrate romantic elegance. Blair, her best friend and co-founder, took Ellie’s dreamy, imaginative ideas and transformed them into stunning dresses—each design a reflection of their shared vision and Blair’s meticulous attention to detail.
